"Fruit with Blue and White"

8 x 10
oil on stretched canvas

Since I collect a lot of blue and white china, it's always easy to find a piece or two worthy of incorporating into a painting.

  1. Ann, as always the light in this piece is stunning. Each of your paintings just has a special something that mark them uniquely as 'Ann Rogers'' work. That apple looks delightfully crunchy - and I am not much of one for fruit eating! Love that backdrop for this piece too. Is the china Delft?

  2. I love how you painted the background. It really sets off the blue and white china.
