"Mexican Pottery"

9 x 12
oil on gessoed hardboard

Wanted to get in some plein air painting time the other day, but oh, the wind was out of control. So settled on a view from my patio which was sheltered from the gusty day. Liked how the sunlight on these pots was filtered through the trees.

  1. Very nice painting, Ann. I love the effects of the light. I know what you mean about the gusty winds and plein air painting. Not a good combination!

  3. Very, very nice and most impressed you have green plants in your pots after our winter...I don't!

  5. J'adore la lumière qui vient effleurer votre sujet semblable à une vedette sur la scène...
L'harmonie de vos couleurs est parfaite et admirable.
    Gros bisous.

  6. One of my favorites to date, Ann. I am reminded of my grandparents' old brick garage. So many happy memories associated with their old place, now razed and two new homes built where once there was only one.

By the way, I didn't send out a bunch of emails so please don't open any if you have them from me. I'm trying to fix this and don't know what to do except uninstall a recent download and run the virus scans...
