Une composition intéressante avec ce duo de bateaux... L'un rougit en dansant avec l'autre... (sourire) Une peinture romantique... Une belle plénitude y règne... Bravo pour le magnifique travail des reflets... gros bisous
Thanks for visiting my blog featuring my most recent oil paintings. I have an art degree from Southern Methodist University and spent about 10 years marketing my paintings through museum art shows, decorators and representation at the Dallas Decorative Center. I put the paints aside for a few years to pursue other business and design interests, but most recently have returned to oil painting. If purchase information is not listed, email me personally if you are interested. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Wow Ann, this one really jumps at me. Your use of saturated color in the boats with the less saturated color of the water really works. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteAgree with Dana. The bright color of the boats is perfect against the muted background. Love the reflections too!

Another gorgeous piece, Ann. I swear, I can't decide if my favorite paintings are landscapes or seascapes!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful painting. I love the muted background that sets off the boat and reflections. It allows the mind and eye to savor the scene.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on this, along with a second work, being accepted into the prestigious Southwest gallery! You deserve it!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this Ann...and CONGRATS and so excited your in the show!
ReplyDeleteYour grays really make the color of the boats pop. Nice design too.
