"Dorsey Lake"

8 x 10
oil on ampersand hardbord

My second plein air painting in Colorado is a scene of Dorsey Lake at the entrance to the YMCA grounds just a couple of miles west of Estes Park. I'm still using a limited palette of ultramarine blue, alizarin crimson and cad yellow light, and white of course.

Was so hoping you guys would get some rain from the tropical storm. Thinking of you!
