oil on ampersand hardbord
My second plein air painting in Colorado is a scene of Dorsey Lake at the entrance to the YMCA grounds just a couple of miles west of Estes Park. I'm still using a limited palette of ultramarine blue, alizarin crimson and cad yellow light, and white of course.
What gorgeous colors you achieved from such a limited palette. Beautiful rendering of a beautiful area.
