"Hilton Head Beach"

8 x 10
oil on stretched canvas

The beaches on Hilton Head Island were incredibly beautiful and pristine.

On another subject, my "Johnny Appleseed" painting has been purchased by the Toby Jug Museum in Evanston, Il. Check out the museum's site to learn more about the history of these unique ceramics.

  1. How cool! Congratulations, Ann! I will have to try to get to the museum to see this lovely piece in person. I remember really loving it when you originally posted it. And those beaches in Hilton Head are stunning! I wish I was there myself! Beautiful beach painting, my friend!

  2. I would give most anything to be on that beach right now, did you paint this plein air? Congratulations on the sale, can't wait to hear the story, lunch soon!

  5. Angela and Carol, Didn't take my paints on the trip, so this was painted from a photo when I got back home. Not sure I could have handled the heat, no shade, and sand for this one! Thanks for the comments.
