"Sailboats"

8 x 10
oil on gessoed masonite
sold

This is a framed donation to the local fundraiser "Treasure Street" benefiting the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Neighbors of ours helped start the event a number of years ago in honor of their granddaughter. October 22 is the night of the event, here's hoping someone likes sailing!

  1. Someone will most definitely like sailing! This is a lovely donation piece, I do several charities, as well, but have only given gift certificates...perhaps, I should give a painting already finished. I also really like your choice of frame, is this from a local source and will you share, if so?

We're getting ready to start plein air painting again, I think the weather (except for this weekend) is beginning to cool off a bit. I'll send out an e-mail soon. Take care, Angela

  2. This is a beautiful painting and the lovely frame just makes it pop! I'd be amazed if this didn't sell immediately! I find myself wanting to be on one of those sailboats!

  5. I bought this painting for my boyfriend..he loves to sail and I grew up around the water. He was working in Dubai and upon his return I gave it to him....He asked me to marry him 1 week later...we both will enjoy this work of art for years to come!!
    Thank you,
