"Spring Fields"

9 x 12
oil on masonite

Another demo from Elizabeth Tolley's book on Landscapes. These are great lessons for working on values, also color formulas. So much to learn!

  1. These are lovely Ann. Who are you taking a workshop with in the fall? I find landscape--especially plein air so challenging. Hard to edit so much info coming in "on the fly."
Love the painting of your granddaughter on the sidewalk. They do grow up fast!
sorry I haven't been making rounds in a while!

  4. Ann - I love your painting - so much so I ordered the book ;-) I'm glad I finally got to make a comment - it wouldn't let me yesterday for some reason.
