oil on stretched canvas
A couple of years ago on vacation my husband and I stopped at this cafe in Rome and enjoyed lunch under the umbrellas on the left, unaffected by the afternoon showers. The rain stopped just as we finished eating and when we left the cafe I turned around to take the above photograph. Great memories!
Très belle interprétation et belle composition avec des couleurs qui dansent et se reflètent dans les traces de la pluie... Belle peinture, bravo Ann.

What an awesome painting, Ann! I love city street scenes like this. We don't really have this here in the U. S. much, do we? I mean downtown Chicago there are a few restaurants that have tables out on the sidewalks, but not many and there is such a sense of busy with all the traffic flowing through. You've handled this scene so very beautifully!
ReplyDeletereflecting on reflections: well done; and the perspective of the buildings aint too shabby either! Congrats.
ReplyDeleteThis is great, Ann. I love it and it brings fond memories of sidewalk cafes in Europe. What did you have to eat? Something yummy, I'll bet.
ReplyDeleteWow, great job.
