"Sunset at White Rock Lake"

8 x 10
oil on gessoed hardboard

White Rock Lake, not far from the heart of downtown Dallas, is the perfect get away from the busy city. Motor boats are not allowed on the lake but sailboats are abundant.

  1. Love this Ann. Beautifully painted. I never got out to White Rock lake while Clint was in Dallas. Heard it was great. I miss Dallas. Maybe I will have to come for a workshop sometime. Weird not coming two or three times a year.
    Lovely painting!

  2. Votre ciel et votre eau sont absolument éblouissants. J'aime les reflets dans l'eau et comme il doit être bon de se trouver là assis au bord de votre ponton les pieds dans l'eau... Une ambiance qui me plaît beaucoup.
    Bisous

  3. Gorgeous sunset colors reflected in the water! I once dated a man who lived on a sailboat and I so wish I could do it myself! This brings back lovely memories. Beautifully painted, Ann.

  7. That is better than I ever remember White Rock looking. We used to sail there way back when. The colors are beautiful and the scene is so peaceful.
