  3. I just left you a message here, but closed out too soon and it looks like it didn't make it...that's what I get for falling behind in blogging. Very nice, glad to see you're out there enjoying this beautiful plein air weather.

  5. Gosh Ann! You have such a distinctive style and one that I so admire. I have enjoyed each of the pieces that have appeared on this first page of your blog. I always love boat paintings and this is no exception. There is an air of mystery to this one for me...Not sure how to describe what I mean. Love the grist mill too! And the books and apple...and...and...and...

  6. Great, Ann! It looks like you are making good progress in your effort to loosen up. It is hard to break old habits, isn't it?

  7. Very nice Ann. Lots of nice shadows and lights and soft brush work. Call me sometime if you want to hear more about Karin's workshop. I will tell some more in upcoming posts. All the best!

  8. Hi Ann,
What a wonderful post about our workshop. I'm still repeating that mantra "value, shape, color, edges" in my head. It was a pleasure seeing you at the workshop.
