I just left you a message here, but closed out too soon and it looks like it didn't make it...that's what I get for falling behind in blogging. Very nice, glad to see you're out there enjoying this beautiful plein air weather.
Gosh Ann! You have such a distinctive style and one that I so admire. I have enjoyed each of the pieces that have appeared on this first page of your blog. I always love boat paintings and this is no exception. There is an air of mystery to this one for me...Not sure how to describe what I mean. Love the grist mill too! And the books and apple...and...and...and...
Very nice Ann. Lots of nice shadows and lights and soft brush work. Call me sometime if you want to hear more about Karin's workshop. I will tell some more in upcoming posts. All the best!
Hi Ann, What a wonderful post about our workshop. I'm still repeating that mantra "value, shape, color, edges" in my head. It was a pleasure seeing you at the workshop.
Thanks for visiting my blog featuring my most recent oil paintings. I have an art degree from Southern Methodist University and spent about 10 years marketing my paintings through museum art shows, decorators and representation at the Dallas Decorative Center. I put the paints aside for a few years to pursue other business and design interests, but most recently have returned to oil painting. If purchase information is not listed, email me personally if you are interested. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Beau résultat mes félicitations... Bises
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Ann. I like the soft colors and edges.

ReplyDeleteGreat, Ann! It looks like you are making good progress in your effort to loosen up. It is hard to break old habits, isn't it?
