Recently finished these two paintings of a cousin's grandchildren, the same "models" in an earlier post of the "Siblings". Both oils were done from photographs.

Hope everyone's summer has gone well. It's been hot, hot, hot here in Texas and a lot of people I know have spent some time at water parks or tubing in nearby rivers. This couple seems to know how to "cool off" in the heat of the day.

My husband has a golfing friend who works for a nursery and on occasion sends a plant home for me. These gifts are usually at their peak of blooms and seem to always arrive just when I'm looking for the next subject for a painting.
